Tour Itinerary
Urbino, in the hearth of Marche, is a small town Unesco heritage since 1998.
Celebrated for its beauties and for having been hometown of many artists of the Italian Renaissance, most of all Raffaello Sanzio. We will leave at 7.00 a.m. from Rome.
The guided tour starts outside Palazzo Ducale, with the visit of the sites orbiting the residence. After the visit of the palace and the major works of the “Galleria Nazionale delle Marche”, we will proceed in the historical centre with the Cathedral, Piazza della Repubblica and the panoramic view-point. In the afternoon we will visit Raffaello’s birthplace and the churches of S. Giovanni and S. Giuseppe.
The return in Rome is estimated at 10.00 p.m.
