Tour Itinerary Depart Rome PLEASE contact us immediatley after your reservation and provide name of your hotel for pickup between 6.40am and 7:00am from central Rome hotels only* Morning Our drive takes us through the regions of Lazio and Umbria. In Florence we visit Galleria dell'Accademia to see the original statue of David by Michelangelo, the 3rd Pietà, and The Prisoners by Michelangelo. We visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore to and Brunelleschi's dome, The Baptistry with Ghiberti's bronze doors and Giotto's Bell tower. From here we walk to Piazza della Signoria to visit the Palazzo Vecchio. Stop for Lunch After lunch we will go to Piazza Santa Croce for free time to visit the church with graves of Michelangelo, Gallileo, Rossini & Machiavelli, or a vist to the historic Leather School & local shops. We then drive to Piazzale Michelangelo for the breathtaking view of the city below. Return to Rome Return to Rome at approx. 9pm. * Pickup from Central Rome hotels/hostels ONLY. For all other hotels you will need to arrive directly at the bus depot in central Rome. Shoulders and knees must be covered for the visit of the Duomo. This tour is multilingual and transported by our co-operator.
