We were very impressed with the Ciak Hostel. We had never traveled and stayed in a hostel, and were sure to recommend it to all of our friends once we reached Florence! Our standards are now very high for hostels! Thanks for a great first experience!

Have stayed in other hostels in rome and this is much better!

The staff is amazing, location is right in the center of town and the place is quite extraordinary for the price!

The shower and bathroom were not clean, but the bed was fine. The hostel is so far from the main areas in Rome, not to mention the area is somewhat sketchy, especially at night. Not safe to walk alone in my opinion. It was also so hard to find the hostel to begin with - the sign is small, and it needs to be changed. I wouldnt recommend this place again, even though the staff are nice. In fact it was after this trip where I decided never to stay in hostels again - there is no help as to where to go nearby, what to do, where to eat, etc... it will only be hotels for me from now on, and the cost isnt even that much more of an expense.

Really friendly place and very helpful staff. Appreciated the free pasta and the air conditioning! Good location with the supermarket round the corner, and the metro station on the doorstep. Only thing that was a concern was the door keys to every room being left in a keyhole on a couple of occasions. Also didin't appreciate someone coming into the room at 7:30 in the morning the day we were checking out. Guessing this was because of the 24 hour check in. Out of courtesy, her bags could have been kept behind the desk until we had all checked out a couple of hours later.

Very kind and caring staff they, are always joking around having fun with you and cheer you up if upset. Good beds, and real shower. Plenty of lockable storage, Very good kitchen facility. There are better hostels for groups wanting to drink and party. This is great for actually getting to sleep having intelligent conversation. Free unlimited internet on 2 unrestricted computers. Very secure, CCTV on buzzer door, 24hour on guard staff. Would visit again and would recommend to friends.

The bathroom and the sleeping room are very clean. The room itself is big enough. During the night, the air conditioning works perfectly, it doesn't produce noise. The hostel staff are very kind and speak English. However, the building is hard to find and breakfast is pretty bad.

Only stayed for one night, but had a good time. The staff and people staying ehre were really friendly. The area it was in was fine, and although there weren't lockers in the rooms I felt safe leaving my stuff out. Good place to meet people, but nothing too crazy

we ended up going back to the hostel to wind up the italy trip after starting with it...great place to stay. you can walk down to colosseum, walk back even at night, a train station next door takes care of connecting easily with other cities and within the city...cool staff.. amongst the two best hostels we stayed in italy at
